    We need your personal data to provide you with the following services:
    On the legal basis of fulfilling our contractual obligations from the Terms and Conditions:
    • Name, surname – we use this data to communicate with you and to process your orders.
    • Email – we use this data to answer your email to communicate with you and to communicate your orders.
    • Role – we use this data to assign you the associated rights on the website (Artist, Art consumer, Art investor, Expert/Co-worker, Art institution).
    • Purchased tickets – we use this data to allow customers to visit online exhibitions.
    On the legal basis of controller’s legitimate interest to better understand it’s audience by developing insights from age and location, to give extra benefits to it’s key customers and to manage the user experience:
    • User ID – each user is assigned an User ID on the platform that is used for processing transactions and activities.
    • Phone number – we use this data, if it is provided by the user, to contact the user with details related to events or opportunities.
    • Gender – we use this data, if it is provided by the user, to better understand the audience.
    • Address – we use this data, if it is provided by the user, to better understand the audience.
    • Birthday – we use this data, if it is provided by the user, to better understand the audience and to give extra surprises to our users on their birthdays.

  4. What we do with them?

    Your personal data is processed within CONNECTED ART company located in Norway. Hosting and storing your data take place on Amazon Web Services provided by Amazon which is hosted in Stockholm.

    Your personal data for browsing history is transmitted to our partners described in the cookies policy, which act as joint controllers.

    Your personal data for notifications is shared with our partner Mailgun which is acting as data processor on behalf of us.

    If you purchase different products on your website, you will be redirected for payment on our partner’s website, NETS. We do not process your payment details.

    Your personal data could be shared with our auditors, accounting partners as well as lawyer cabinets, acting as data controllers.

  5. How long do we keep personal data?

    Your account data will be retained for three years since your last login on the platform under the legitimate interest of CONNECTED ART to maintain your account in case of inactivity. After three years the data will be destroyed.

    Data from fiscal transactions (invoices, contracts) will be retained as long as the Norwegian Fiscal Law and Fiscal Authorities require.

  6. What are your rights?

    If you have reason to believe that any personal data that we have about you is incorrect or incomplete, you have the right to ask to see your personal data, to correct it, to request to be deleted, to request restriction of processing or to object to the processing.
